RNIB Charity Gig – 2 August 2025

We just got back from the bandstand in Lymington where we played a couple of hour-long sets of 60s and 70s covers to raise some cash for the RNIB. We haven’t counted all the money in the bucket yet, but for those who were there, you’ll remember that the first donation came from a little girl with her white stick, and her mom was right beside her. It’s such a sweet reminder of the amazing work this charity does and why we need to keep raising funds. We’re planning to do it all over again next year, just like we have for the last two years. Huge thanks to all of you for being so generous!

Pennington Sports and Social Club – 19 July 2025

We really enjoyed playing for the members of Pennington Sports & Social Club last night, it was hot & humid but the dancers danced & others sang along with us to the familiar songs we played from the 60’s & 70’s.

Our very special thanks go to Natalie Mary Waite who stood in at short notice for our regular vocalist Debby Ramshaw & we are pleased to say that we have been booked to play here again next year. Thank you to the bar staff & committee members who looked after us so well.

Brockstock 2025 – our second appearance – 26 May 2025

I would just like to say how proud I am of the guys in the band, Debby Ramshaw, Nigel Ferguson, Rob Sheridan & Mike Hunter. This line up has been together now for over 2 years & although we don’t do many gigs, those we do do have always been well practiced & well received. We are a a close-knit band & it is entirely down to them that I can continue to do what I love doing. Brockstock was amazing again this year so well done guys & thank you.

The Bitterne – 26 January 2025

It was our first time as a band playing at The Bittern in Thornhill & we didn’t know what to expect but WOW! what a great venue for live music. Fantastic hosts & a terrifically enthusiastic crowd who danced & sang along with us. It was great to see some familiar friendly faces in the audience too who had traveled a fair distance in bad weather conditions to support us, so thank you guys. We had some really good feedback from many of the people there before we left which was much appreciated & of course we would love to play there again sometime.

Pennington Sports and Social Club – 26 October 2024

What a great night we had at the Pennington Club last night with an appreciative audience dancing & singing along to the sounds of the 60’s & 70’s we were playing. Thank you to Andy Gale on the desk & to the committee members who looked after us so well as first timers at their club. Finally a special thanks to Natalie Ann Pike for having the courage to book a band who had never played there before, we really enjoyed it.

Annual Charity Gig for RNIB – 31 August 2024

This year’s charity gig for RNIB was the best yet. Donations to this wonderful cause were just over £200. Our thanks go out to all of you who stayed to watch or who were just passing by & contributed so generously. Our special thanks go to Robert Rees who acted as our “roadie” & also set up our sound system in very difficult windy conditions. Much appreciated Bob thank you very much.

WheelFest at the New Wheel Inn, Pennington – 3rd August 2024

Well that was good fun! “WheelFest” at the New Wheel Inn Pennington was really buzzing when we arrived to fill our allotted time & it continued to do so as we played our own mix of 60’s & 70’s rock & pop to an appreciative audience who danced & sang along with us. Our thanks to Ian Halliday & everyone at the Wheel for making it all happen. My personal thanks to Tony Dashwood the drummer with Bish Bash Bosh for letting me loose on his drum kit.
